DLA Piper advising the Kingdom of Sweden in entering into a shareholders' agreement regarding Videberg Kraft AB

DLA Piper has assisted the Kingdom of Sweden in entering into a shareholders' agreement regarding Videberg Kraft AB. Videberg Kraft AB will be owned by the Kingdom of Sweden with 60 per cent, Vattenfall with 20 per cent and Industrikraft with 20 per cent. The agreement provides for stable, long-term ownership to facilitate new nuclear power in Sweden.

The new ownership structure is expected to come into effect in 2027. The next step is for the government to submit the project to the European Commission for state aid approval.
