The new Swedish law on foreign direct investments enters into force

As of today, the new Swedish law on foreign direct investments enters into force.

This law introduces a notification requirement for mergers, acquisitions, and investments in Sweden, targeting various sectors such as essential services, security-sensitive operations, critical raw materials, sensitive data processing, military equipment, emerging technologies, and more.
