DLA Piper advises Rhino Entertainment Group on divestment to Betsson Group

DLA Piper has acted as lead counsel to Rhino Entertainment Group in connection with the sale of its Canadian B2C operations, together with certain proprietary technology assets, to Betsson Group for a total consideration of EUR 64.5 million.

Rhino Entertainment Group is a Malta-based online gaming operator founded in 2020, operating a multi-brand portfolio across a number of regulated markets. The divested business comprises licences, personnel and operational capabilities in Ontario and other Canadian provinces, as well as Rhino's proprietary front-end and middleware technology.

The transaction supports Betsson Group's strategy to expand its presence in the North American market. Completion is subject to regulatory approvals, anticipated in the second or third quarter of 2026.
